Wow. I would think this was a joke if I didn't know that anti-choicers really are this insane.
Join young people across the country on Protest the Pill Day ’08: The Pill Kills Babies on June 7 and witness outside of clinics that distribute this killing poison.

1972:
Through its Eisenstadt v. Baird decision, the U.S. Supreme Court allows single people to have access to birth control products.
Sometimes I forget how fucked up reproductive rights used to be. =/
Because the pill weakens the immune system, it can cause bacterial infections and can make a woman more susceptible to the AIDS virus.
Hold up--what?

And wtf, INFANT homicides? Like, that would be if someone fed a neonate about twenty dialpacks worth of Ortho-Novum, maybe.

However, if both of these methods fail and a new human person is created, the pill and other contraceptives can stop a tiny child’s implantation in his/her mother’s womb because the pill irritates the lining of the uterus so that the tiny baby boy or baby girl cannot attach to the lining of the uterus and the newly formed human person is aborted and dies.
Source pls.

a man who grows accustomed to the use of contraceptive methods may forget the reverence due to a woman, and reduce her to being a mere instrument for the satisfaction of his own desires, no longer considering her as his partner whom he should surround with care and affection.
Right. Alternately, both partners can have fun, relaxed, non-terrified sex.

are sexually active?
A: Better for whom? The pill does not prevent you from getting a sexually transmitted disease, it is not 100 percent effective in preventing pregnancy and you could conceive a child who gets chemically aborted before the baby’s presence is even known to you. Moreover, sexual activity outside of marriage is seriously wrong." (emphasis mine)
response one: yes, because married couples always want teh ickle baybees.
response two: seriously wrong, and yet, so fucking awesome!

First off, although fertilization occurs when the sperm and egg unite, it is not an offcial pregnancy until the egg attaches itself to the wall of the uterus. This happens naturally for a number of reasons:
1. wrong time of month
2. Naturally rejected
3. ectopic pregnancy
and more...
so, they should be against uteri all together, since the damn uteri can't figure out what to keep and what to trash!

A: Although the pill may have some minor benefits, the fact that it can kill preborn babies and cause harmful side effects for the woman outweighs its minor benefits."
My primary use of the pill is to regulate my period. In fact, it was recommended to me by my gynecologist, since I was only having my period every 8-10 months. Because of this delay, I would have heavy and even painful flows. Since getting on the pill, my periods have been a lot easier on me. Obviously, I wouldn't have any problem using them for birth control, but I currently have a girlfriend, so it doesn't really do much in the sexual department.
Let's not forget the other non-contraceptive reasons for their use. I know, it's Wikipedia, but I imagine it isn't far from the truth. And even if doesn't have any use beyond contraception, who cares? It's a woman's right to use birth control, even it is to KILL THE WIDDLE MIRAKULS IN HER WOMB.
But who cares about women? WE MUST SAVE TEH BAAAYYYYBEEEEEES

And did your gynecologist look like this, by any chance?
y/y?
And even if doesn't have any use beyond contraception, who cares? It's a woman's right to use birth control, even it is to KILL THE WIDDLE MIRAKULS IN HER WOMB.
NO, YOUR UTERUS IS PUBLIC PROPERTY AND IT MUST BE FILLED WITH MIRACLES AT ALL TIMES

Anti-choicers seem to have a lot of time on their hands, don't they? I'm going to pretend this all a twisted joke gone awry, otherwise, I'll just have to jump off a brige, as my faith in humanity will be lost.
Antis, you fail, hard.

- Thrombophlebitis and venous thrombosis with or without embolism
- Hypertension
- Budd-Chiari Syndrome
- Mental depression
- Edema
- Change in weight
- Bone loss (this one wins for being patently false too)
- Cancer (also false for the pill)
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Cholestatic jaundice
- Changes in appetite
- Amenorrhea
- Breast changes: tenderness, enlargement, secretion
Know what other medical condition causes these side effects WAY more often than the pill? HMM LET ME THINK!
